Aakansha is a senior from Phoenix, Arizona. She is double majoring in Nutrition & Human Performance and Rehabilitation Studies & Services with a certificate in Developmental Disabilities. She joined UAEMS in Fall 2025 and has been a Field Training Officer (FTO) since Spring 2026. Her clinical and research interests lean heavily into sports medicine, rehabilitative care, and disability advocacy.

Alongside her 9-1-1 response and training roles with UAEMS, she is developing evidence-based nutritional resources for Arizona's Adaptive Athletics program and investigating Supported Decision Making frameworks alongside the Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disability. She also works with incoming students as a College of Agriculture Life and Environmental Sciences (CALES) ambassador. After completing her bachelors degree, she hope to become a sports medicine physician.
