Cassie Medina

Cassie is a junior from Albuquerque, New Mexico and joined UAEMS in Spring 2024. She is majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and holds a minor in Psychology. 

Outside of EMS, Cassie works for Campus Recreation, interns at SPARCC concussion clinic, and volunteers as a community health specialist with Zmansion, a homeless feeding project. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, working out, and cooking for her friends and family. After graduation, Cassie plans to attend PA school and pursue a career in either emergency medicine or primary care.

Reflecting on her time with UAEMS, Cassie shares, "The opportunity to give back to my community alongside such a dedicated and compassionate group of students has been life-changing. I've grown both professionally and personally as a provider, and the lifelong bonds I've formed here are irreplaceable."
