Charlie Stemple is a Junior at the University of Arizona and serves as the Officer of Continuing Education with the University of Arizona Emergency Medical Services (UAEMS), where he plays a key role in advancing the education of UAEMS “Blue Shirts” and maintaining their competency as BLS providers.

Originally from Kent, Washington, Charlie spent a significant portion of his youth living in Nairobi, Kenya before becoming a resident of Tucson, Arizona. He joined UAEMS in Spring 2025 and is currently completing his paramedic training at the University of Arizona.

Charlie is pursuing Bachelors degrees in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Physiology and Medical Sciences. Upon obtaining his paramedic license, Charlie plans to work in the field to gain real-world experience before applying to medical school and ultimately work in emergency medicine and as an EMS medical director. Outside of EMS, Charlie enjoys playing guitar, photography, staying active at the gym, and playing volleyball and soccer.
