James Rockow

James is a junior at the University of Arizona studying Learning, Literacy, and Leadership (L3) with a minor in EMS. James joined UAEMS in Spring 2021 and is from Flagstaff, AZ. Outside of UAEMS, James is involved in UA Baja Wildcat Racing and is the president of the UA Cycling Team. When not on campus, he loves to ride and race mountain and road bikes, cook, and travel.
 
In James's words, "My most valuable experience is taking advice and from co-workers and other agencies in order to better perform on every call going forward. Everyone wants to see you exceed in the agency, you just have to be willing to listen and change with the advice you are given." After graduating, James plans to apply to the Tucson Fire Department Academy and possibly get a master's degree in nursing.
