Mikayla joined UAEMS in Spring 2025 and is a senior pursuing double majors in Medicine and Political Science, with minors in EMS and Government & Public Policy. She joined UAEMS to further develop her clinical skills as an EMT while giving back to the university community.

In addition to her involvement with UAEMS, Mikayla takes part in Honors Student Council, co-chairs the planning of Franke Fling, and recently completed an internship with the Governor's Office in Phoenix. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, exploring local coffee shops, arranging flowers, and being active.

“I initially joined UAEMS as a way to grow as an EMT and give back to the student community on campus, but my time with the agency has become so much more than that. Through UAEMS, I’ve met some of my closest friends, made countless unforgettable memories, and had the privilege of serving so many patients. It has truly been one of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my college experience, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing organization.”
