She is currently completing an internship with the Pima County Health Department’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness department, where she has gained experience in emergency planning, disaster response, and protecting community health on a larger scale.
Since joining UAEMS, Olivia has grown significantly as both a provider and a leader. The agency has played a major role in shaping her confidence, skills, and sense of purpose, and she remains committed to serving her community with compassion and teamwork.
“UAEMS has given me so much more than clinical experience — it’s given me a family. The people in this agency have pushed me, supported me, and helped shape who I am today, and I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to continue serving this team as Deputy Chief.”
