Emma Kawamoto

Emma is a senior here at the University of Arizona majoring in Molecular & Cellular Biology with minors in Anthropology, Government & Public Policy, and EMS. Emma joined UAEMS in the Fall of 2020 and hails from Phoenix, AZ. Outside of UAEMS, Emma is involved in the honorary systems, including SPURS and FCC. She is employed as a volunteer coordinator for SkyKids inc., which serves the special needs community. Emma loves hiking, camping, photography, and travel.
 
Emma says that "My most valuable experience from UAEMS has been creating strong relationships with my fellow EMTs and being part of a tight-knit community of like-minded students. UAEMS has helped me grow immensely as both a person and a medical provider and I am so grateful for my experiences in this incredible agency!" Upon graduating Emma plans to pursue a Master's in Public Health and potentially medical school.
