Kalia Kang

Kalia is a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in Physiology & Medical Science and minoring in Biochemistry and Health and Human Values. Kalia joined UAEMS in the Fall of 2020 and hails from Anthem, AZ. Outside of UAEMS, Kalia is the Recruitment Data Assistant and Scholarship Director at Kappa Alpha Theta, the social media coordinator at Physiology Ambassadors, and a researcher at the UA Rise Health and Wellness Center. In her free time, she can be found listening to music, hiking (ask her for the best recommendations), rock climbing, and spending time with her pals.
 
In her own words, "Because of UAEMS, I have found a community of people that have the same values, goals, and aspirations. The family that UAEMS has brought me on campus has been the most supportive, uplifting, and inspirational group of people I have the honor of knowing. There is no other experience like being able to provide emergency medical care to the UofA Community. I am so grateful for the opportunities and experiences UAEMS has given me! " Kalia hopes to attend PA school and is interested in specializing in either emergency medicine or dermatology.
