Sayujya is a senior here at the University of Arizona majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Biochemistry. He joined UAEMS in the Fall of 2021 and grew up in Meridian, Idaho. Outside of UAEMS, Sayujya is a UBRP researcher and a Habitats for Humanities volunteer. He enjoys playing basketball with friends in his free time.
 
Sayujya says "My most memorable experience in UAEMS was being a total black cloud during my red-shirt semester. I was able to interact with so many patients with a wide variety of backgrounds and this volume of experience solidified my desire to go into medicine. " After graduating, Sayujya hopes to attend medical school.
