Tanner is a senior at the University of Arizona studying Physiology with minors in Spanish and Emergency Medicine. Tanner joined us here at UAEMS in the Fall of 2019 and is from Mesa, Arizona. Besides spending his time here at UAEMS, he is also a researcher for the Arizona RETINA Project where they study light adaption in relation to the human retina. In his free time, Tanner can be found mountain biking and rock climbing.

According to Tanner "My most memorable experience in UAEMS is probably my first shift working for the agency. Technically it was my ride-along so I was not allowed to make patient contact. However, that night we got dispatched 6 times and had a total of 7 patients. The best part about this was how I realized how much we can help the students, staff, or anyone else on the University of Arizona campus." Tanner plans to attend PA school upon graduation from undergrad.
