Zach graduated from the University of Arizona with the class of 2022 with degrees in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Physiology with minors in Emergency Medicine, Finance, and Biochemistry but plans to continue his studies at the University of Arizona through the Spring of 2023.


Zach has been a part of UA EMS since 2018. Aside from his current role as Assistant Chief of EMS, he has held the position of Officer of Logistics and Shift Supervisor. During his time, he developed the agency's partnership with the American Heart Association and the Department of Defence, making us the largest provider of CPR training and the only provider of "Stop the Bleed" training on campus. Outside of UA EMS, you can find Zach working as an Emergency Department Technician at Banner University of Arizona Medical Center. 


Zach says, "He enjoys working as part of a team with leaders from across The University of Arizona to make an impact on campus safety and health."


Upon leaving The University of Arizona, Zach plans to pursue opportunities in safety, health, and risk management. Down the road, Zach would like to attend medical school to become a Physician.
